2024

6 Pillars Marketing is honored with five wins at the 2024 PRSA Koa Anvil Awards, including two Koa Anvil Awards and three Koa Hammer Awards for excellence in public relations and communications, plus a Best of Show Overall nomination.

2023

6 Pillars Marketing is hired by LVMH, the largest luxury brand in the world, for the launch campaign of DFS Waikiki, including public relations, graphic design, blessing, grand reopening and live entertainment.

2022

6 Pillars Marketing created and produced the first-ever statewide Summer Concert Series for Procter & Gamble Hawaii and Walmart in partnership with Webco Hawaii, featuring the biggest local entertainers in Hawaiʻi music.

2021

6 Pillars Marketing (6PM) celebrates 26 years in the business!

Sightline Hospitality hires 6 Pillars Marketing as the agency of record for its premier Hawaiʻi property, Queen Kapiʻolani Hotel in Waikīkī. The agency’s scope of work includes branding and creative services, advertising, social media, public relations and experiential marketing. 

2018

Rotary International, a worldwide service organization, hires 6PM as project manager for its 2020 Global Convention in Honolulu. 20,000 members expected to attend.

6PM coordinates a public relations campaign and generates electric buzz for Dream Weekend Concert, featuring Snoop Dogg, Cardi B and Sublime with Rome.

JLL , an American commercial real estate company, hires 6PM for the launch campaign and multi-year events & entertainment contract for West Oahu’s highly anticipated shopping center, Ka Makana Ali‘i  in Kapolei.

2017

6PM launches Hawaii’s largest solar farm on Oahu on behalf of Eurus Energy America, a company jointly owned by Toyota Tsusho Corporation and Tokyo Electric Power.

In 2017, 6PM’s dynamic t-shirt design wins Hawaiʻi Lodging & Tourism Association’s perpetual Visitor Industry Charity Walk T-shirt Design Contest on behalf of its client, Kyo-ya Hotels & Resorts, and its iconic Waikīkī properties, including The Royal Hawaiian Resort Waikiki, Sheraton Waikiki, Moana Surfrider, and Sheraton Princess Kaiulani.  6PM’s design concept, which took first place among all t-shirts produced that year, featured a flower lei composed of logos, slogans and iconic local symbols.

2016

Kamehameha Schools and Colliers International select 6PM to launch SALT at Our Kaka‘ako as Urban Honolulu’s new hotspot. The integrated marketing campaign includes the public grand opening launch and dedication of SALT at Our Kaka’ako, along with the homecoming celebration of the Hōkūleʻa voyaging canoe held on site.

Hawaii Gas, a subsidiary of Macquarie Infrastructure Company (NYSE:MIC), hires 6PM to launch the 12-acre Waihonu Solar Farm, located on the grounds of the Honbushin International Center in Mililani.

2015

Kamehameha Schools hires 6PM to launch Hale‘iwa Store Lots as part of its North Shore redevelopment plan that includes retail, shopping and the community. Marketing efforts also include the re-grand opening of a new Matsumoto’s Shave Ice building and retail expansion of the treasured establishment in its original space.

6PM creates the “Drink Aloha Concert Series” to support Pepsi’s launch of the new “Out of the Blue” music platform in Hawaii.

2013

Pepsi hires 6PM to create its signature “Drink Aloha” campaign in Hawaii, effectively immersing the global brand into the local culture.

HDT, Hawaii’s 3rd largest Internet Service Provider, hires 6PM for a comprehensive rebranding campaign, including a website refresh, new logo design and statewide public relations, media relations and marketing.

2012

Producers of “Opening Act,” a reality talent show broadcast on the E! Network, hire 6PM for local television production. Services include location, casting and auditions for Episode 4 of Season 1, featuring Grammy Award-winning artist Jason Mraz.

2011

6PM, creators of the “Discover the Islands Series” is hired by The Howard Hughes Corporation (NYSE: HHC) to spearhead the “Discover Kaka‘ako Series.” The lineup of exciting events highlights the vibrant community and supports the real estate development company’s plans to transform a 60-acre district in Honolulu into the urban master planned community, “Ward Village.”

2008

Iconic Sheraton Waikiki hires 6PM for the launch campaign of RumFire, its exciting new beachside lounge and Waikiki’s hottest destination.

A&E Television Network hires 6PM for local television production services of “Gene Simmons Family Jewels,” starring the world-famous KISS frontman. Services include location management, casting and auditions.

6PM creates its innovative and groundbreaking
Social Media Marketing Department to help Hawaii businesses navigate and maximize the evolving marketing platforms.

2007

6PM is hired for the launch campaign of the upscale Honolulu Design Center, Stage Restaurant, and Amuse Wine Bar complex, with special VIP guests including actors John Travolta and wife, the late Kelly Preston.

2001

6PM launches its Television & Video Production Department and begins producing high-quality, informative weekly television shows for local FOX affiliate KHON2 and Time Warner Cable’s OC16.

1995

The birth of our media and marketing agency in Honolulu, providing integrated communication services to local clientele.
