Sitting along the shoreline of Waikiki is RumFire — a bar and grill with a warm atmosphere that offers family-style menu items, an expansive drink list, live music and happy hour. With both indoor and outdoor lounge areas and a large fire pit, RumFire is a popular spot to mingle with friends while sipping on handcrafted drinks. This soon-to-be iconic Waikiki destination selected 6PM to light a fire for all to see with a memorable launch campaign.

For the launch campaign of the new oceanfront bar and grill located within the Sheraton Waikiki, 6PM conceptualized a sexy, sophisticated, fashionable yet casual, and exotic event focused around a “rum” theme, a playful tribute to the name “RumFire.” In the tradition of Hollywood-style glitz and glam, 6PM rolled out a bright orange carpet to greet arriving guests. Beating drums and torch-toting models welcomed partygoers to the seductive atmosphere. 

The ambience of the fiery destination redefined the typical “bar + grill” and firmly placed RumFire high on the list of hotspots where Hawaii’s most influential socialites needed to be seen. From concept to implementation, 6PM carefully managed the event coordination, including public relations outreach, invitations to VIP guests, collecting RSVPs and escorting media throughout the evening. 

6PM’s highly successful themed launch campaign ensured more wonderful collaborations with RumFire over the years, including its 10-year anniversary event.
