Since 1904, Hawaii Gas has been the only franchised gas utility in the state of Hawaii. They have installed gas pipeline infrastructure, built bulk storage facilities with access to the harbor and developed a highly skilled workforce on every major island to serve the people of Hawaii. Hawaii Gas is a pillar of our statewide community.
6 Pillars Marketing has worked on a variety of campaigns with Hawaii Gas. Among the most memorable was the launch of their Waihonu Solar Farm. The facility is one of the largest active solar farms on Oahu, situated on 12 acres on the Honbushin International Center in Mililani.
6PM was tasked with planning and executing the high-profile blessing ceremony for the solar farm. Featuring a traditional Hawaiian blessing, remarks by Hawaii Governor David Ige and other dignitaries, as well as local entertainment and a locally-sourced menu prepared by the Culinary Program of Kapiolani Community College, 6PM executed a well-received and well-attended event. 6PM also designed graphics and print collateral in support of the event.
