Throughout 2023, 6PM expertly promoted SALT at Our Kaka‘ako across integrated communication platforms. Our strategy encompassed strategic public relations, event promotions, digital campaigns, social media initiatives, and community partnerships. Our team organized and promoted original events designed to drive foot traffic, highlight Hawaiian culture and support local businesses. Events included Lunar New Year, Lei Day Aloha, SALT Summer Nights Concert Series and A Pinch of SALT. Our efforts exceeded objectives and garnered extensive media coverage, including global media hits.

Keep it Aloha Podcast EPK

Multi-Media Communications: Press Kit/Media Kit (Electronic Version Only)

The “Keep it Aloha” (KIA) podcast is one of Hawaiʻi’s most popular, sharing stories and insights about Hawaiʻi’s unique culture, people, and places. KIA podcast producers turned to 6PM to create a comprehensive electronic press kit (EPK) to help promote the podcast and attract media attention. The EPK provides journalists, influencers, and potential partners with extensive details about the podcast. Distributed to over 100 targeted media contacts, the EPK generated substantial coverage in various local and national publications, helping to elevate the podcast’s profile and increase its listenership. It also sparked interest from potential sponsors and collaborators, helping to solidify the podcast’s success.

The 2023 Lei Day Aloha event at SALT at Our Kakaʻako offered guests an immersive cultural experience, featuring live Hawaiian music, captivating hula performances, fresh flower lei-making classes led by Hawaiian practitioners, and keiki craft activities. The event successfully increased foot traffic, while the interactive elements helped to foster a deeper appreciation for Hawaiian culture and traditions. Promotions spanned various platforms, including social media channels, paid advertising, public relations outreach and the center’s website.

Moët Hennessy USA’s Whispering Angel (Rosé) brand received a valuable boost when 6PM created a memorable consumer activation at Turtle Bay Resort on O‘ahu’s North Shore. We developed and executed a luxurious Whispering Angel Cabana experience using branded assets and visually appealing setups. Our team captured the arrangement with professional videos and photos and shared them with targeted media outlets. The effort resulted in an impressive feature article in Forbes, a prestigious publication that aligns perfectly with the brand’s target audience. The engaging piece reached millions of readers, significantly enhancing brand visibility.

Shop Small Holiday Shopping Campaign For Kamehameha Schools

Social Media: Social Media Text-Based Marketing Program

In collaboration with American Express, 6PM created the “Shop Small” social media campaign to increase awareness and patronage of the many small businesses at Kamehameha Schools’ properties during the 2023 holiday shopping season. Targeted properties included Hale‘iwa Store Lots, SALT at Our Kaka‘ako, and Keawe Retail at Our Kaka‘ako. Our original campaigns showcased tenants and their unique offerings through promotions such as the 12 Days to Christmas Countdown and Wish Aloha Giveaway. Our efforts increased visibility for dozens of small business tenants, boosting foot traffic and online engagement. Over 240,000 impressions were gained on Instagram and Facebook posts, with the Instagram posts collectively garnering over 3,500 likes, indicating robust engagement.
