Public Relations, Launch Campaign
The Big Picture
6 Pillars Marketing (6PM) had the opportunity to work with Peacock, a streaming service from NBCUniversal, to promote their upcoming series Oʻahu Shores, which featured a local cast and scenic island locations. The collaboration included a media tour with Oʻahu Shores actors appearing on various news programs to promote the show, culminating in a launch party at Dave & Buster’s Ala Moana, where the first two episodes were screened for more than 500 people.
Public Relations Campaign
As part of our partnership with Peacock, 6PM served as the company’s local liaison, securing media appearances for the cast, conducting media training, and drafting talking points ahead of interviews. With decades of public relations experience, 6PM CEO Lincoln Jacobe personally trained the cast to prepare them for appearances on KHON2 Living 808, KITV4 Island Life, Hawaii News Now Sunrise, and more. Much of the main cast, including Kamalani Pico, Skye Baker, Marcus Hee, Keolu Ramos, Raven Wood, Rachael Peterson, and Alex Fowler, appeared on broadcast segments promoting the show. The media tour also included a guest appearance on iHeartRadio.

The Premiere
Following the media tour, 6PM coordinated a red-carpet premiere at Dave & Buster’s Ala Moana featuring a 10-by-10-foot step and repeat backdrop created by our design team and a red carpet for media photos. Our team facilitated a Q&A session with the actors and worked with news stations to record the event. 6PM collaborated closely with Dave & Buster’s to ensure a smooth and successful premiere experience.


Conclusion
It was an honor for our team to help promote the locally based Oʻahu Shores program and its cast at Dave & Buster’s, a venue we helped launch earlier this year. We were grateful for the opportunity to partner with Peacock and support the talented local cast.
