The Big Picture
Born from the aloha and compassion that Queen Liliʻuokalani had for Hawaiʻi’s keiki and ʻohana, the Liliʻuokalani Trust is dedicated to providing vulnerable Native Hawaiian youth with opportunities and experiences to help them realize their greatest potential.
Our 6 Pillars Marketing (6PM) Public Relations team kicked off Hawaiian History Month and Queen Liliʻuokalani’s birthday with two major events: a press conference featuring the world-renowned Jabbawockeez and their generous donation to Liliʻuokalani Trust (LT), and an exclusive Pāʻina Hoaloha charity dinner headlined by Nicole Scherzinger. Our team also planned and executed a press tour with the Jabbawockeez to further the impact of our outreach.

The Press Conference
To launch this experiential marketing campaign, our public relations team orchestrated a press conference commemorating a special partnership between LT and the Jabbawockeez at the new Liliʻuokalani Center on Ward Avenue. The PĀʻINA HOALOHA
In celebration of Liliʻuokalani Trust’s grand opening, 6PM planned and produced an exclusive charity dinner, featuring specialty live-action food stations from local vendors and a performance by Nicole Scherzinger and Mike Tulba. Learn more about this extraordinary event below.

The Press Tour
Following the press conference, 6PM facilitated a comprehensive media tour with the Jabbawockeez, who appeared on KHON2’s Living808, Hawaiʻi News Now, Pacific Media Group, and several local radio stations including HI93 FM and 102.7 Da Bomb to discuss their partnership with Liliʻuokalani Trust and their generous donation.
Written interviews with the Jabbawockeez were also published in Midweek, and an article spotlighting Liliʻuokalani Trust appeared in Kakaʻako VERT Magazine, featuring a stunning photoshoot of the new facility.

The Takeaway
