6PM developed and put on the annual Rice Festival in the state of Hawaii from concept to completion. 6PM developed the logo, website, sponsorship kits, handled public relations and produced the overall event to celebrate the community’s favorite grain. 6PM partnered with Lanakila Pacific Meals on Wheels, a local nonprofit organization, to run a brown rice drive donation. The drive gathered rice to help feed more than a thousand kupuna (elderly) who benefit from Lanakila Pacific’s meal delivery service.
With the guidance of 6PM, two Guinness World Records™ have been established at Rice Fest: the World’s Largest Spam Musubi and the World’s Largest Loco Moco. The spam musubi weighed in at more than 200 pounds and the loco moco was a monstrous 1,126 pounds!
In addition to these great records, 6PM secured countless local food vendors to prepare rice-themed dishes at Rice Fest, organized live entertainment throughout the day, secured celebrity and chef cooking demonstrations, hosted a Spam Musubi Eating Competition, and ensured many activities for guests to enjoy at Rice Fest, making it a highly-anticipated annual event in Hawaii.
